Who Owns a PocketRN Account?

PocketRN accounts are owned by individuals, not by organizations. When you sign up and create a PocketRN account, you are the owner of that account and all the data in it. Our legal responsibility is to the account owner(s), so we won’t let other people take over your account without your permission.

Who can access data associated with my PocketRN account?

Certain data are shared between you, other account owners, and with PocketRN. You do not have the same rights to these data as to your account data. Your account may have authorization designated by an organization, other account owner, or PocketRN that extends your basic capabilities as an account owner or that extends to certain uses of PocketRN. We are not obligated to describe all such uses, but we will make a best effort to make clear when such data are owned by you and when they are not. An example of this is when your usage of PocketRN is under the services provided through a partnering organization. Admin level users within this organization can access data regarding your correspondence and your activities within the scope of this organization.

PocketRN also serves many patients that never actually access PocketRN. For this reason, your account may be managed by a caregiver or admin level user that has created your account details when adding you as a user on PocketRN. You may adjust their permissions at any time by logging into your PocketRN account or by emailing support@pocketrn.com.
