How to join a clinic on PocketRN

After registering with PocketRN, one of the required steps is joining a clinic on the platform. Each PocketRN clinic may have different approaches to inviting and registering their existing patients.

Do I need to register with PocketRN before joining a clinic?

Not necessarily. An invite to join a clinic can initiate the registration process for a patient or caregiver. Alternatively, you may be given an invite code that, when entered, allows you to join a clinic. The approach depends on how the clinic decides to handle onboarding.

How do I know if I've been invited to a clinic?

Here are some examples of how a patient or caregiver may be invited to join a clinic on PocketRN:

A PocketRN clinic may have already invited your email address to join their clinic. In most cases, you should see an invite in your email, but it is not necessary to join.

• If you are not registered, you should see a clinic invite when you first log in to your account.
• If you are registered, sign in and go to Profile > Clinics to check for the invite. Click Accept to join.

A PocketRN clinic or care coordinator may provide you with a QR code, an invite URL, or an invite code to their clinic.

• If you are not registered, you will see a text field for entering the code when you log in.
• If you are registered, go to Profile > Clinics and enter the invite code.
• Alternatively, if you scan the QR code while logged into PocketRN, you will be able to confirm the clinic invite directly.

Do I need to be affiliated with a clinic to join PocketRN?

If you want to join PocketRN without being affiliated with a specific clinic, you can still register if you are located in one of our eligible states. When you log in and register, you can click "Continue without a code" to join the PocketRN General Medical Care clinic.
